I always have a competition with myself to see if i can guess which puppy will climb out of the pool first. I thought it would be Blue Collar, but I was wrong. It was Green!

They also had their first adventure outside! Red was a little sleepy, Blue enjoyed eating leaves, and Green tried to make everyone else go first.

The video below has two clips, one from when they were two weeks old and one from yesterday. In the first clip, they are fighting for the best pillow, and the second video shows how much they have developed over the past week. They are moving all around now!

The puppies are starting to move around for quick bursts that last about a minute. Then they are exhausted! It is so funny to watch. Normally, Green wakes up and makes his sisters get up by nibbling on their ears or climbing on them. He then passes out asleep, and the girls try to play with him, He gets so tired that they can roll him over, climb on him, or chew his ears, and he is just too sleepy to move. It is the cutest thing! He is also always at the bottom of the sleeping pile! The girls love using him as a pillow!

TWO WEEKS OLD

The puppies are getting so big! They are beginning to open their eyes, and they can see figures. Their eyes have not developed to be able to see the finer details yet though. They are still sleeping most of the day, and love to be held and snuggled. We had a snow day this past week and spent the day reading and snuggling puppies! So much fun!

ONE WEEK OLD

This week has been incredibly cold here in the Richmond area. I heard that it was around 4 degrees one night! At this age, the puppies are not able to regulate their own temperature and rely on snuggling with each other and their mom, Reef, for warmth. We also keep the house around 70 degrees to make sure they are warm enough.

The puppies have also doubled their birth weight. They were right around a pound at birth, and now all three are about two pounds!

PUPPY NEWS!

We hope that everyone has had a wonderful time with family and friends over the Christmas holiday. We are so thankful for all the time that we were able to spend with our family and dear friends. Chris and I both have birthdays in December, so we have triple the amount of family time, and I wouldn’t have it any other way!

We have some very exciting news…  Reef had her puppies! She had a smaller litter this time, but they are happy, healthy, and active! They are so sweet, and we have enjoyed holding them today!
