EIGHT WEEKS OLD

We have had such a wonderful time with the puppies these last eight weeks. They are all heading to their new homes this weekend. Here are a few pictures that we took over the past week.

We were really hoping for a snow day this week so that we could have more time with the puppies.

We got one! They had so much fun out in the snow! Take a close look; they also found all of our hitchhikers in the backyard! We picked off about 100! They love running through the tall grasses.

Chris had a few homework assignments to complete. He was a little distracted!

I will definitely miss this view!

SEVEN WEEKS OLD

Less than a week until the puppies start heading to their forever families! I always love to take this week to look back at all of the pictures of the puppies. They have grown SO MUCH!

We had quite a bit of snow this past week. If you haven’t already, you should check out this blog post to see a video I made of the puppies playing in the snow. They loved it!

We also took a few trips this week to get the puppies more acclimated to riding in the car. At the very beginning of the week, they went to the vets for their check-up and first round of vaccines. Here is a picture right before we headed out.

We also made a trip to Norfolk to visit my grandparents. They always love to meet our puppies but had not had a chance to make it up yet, so we went to them. The puppies were great on the 1 1/2 hour car ride. (They slept most of the way!)

This picture is blurry, but it perfectly describes what the puppies love to do at this age. PLAY!

We also had some very good friends come in for the weekend to visit the puppies. The kids loved the puppies, and were so good with them. The littlest one had no fear, and loved puppy kisses.

I am trying to soak in as much of the puppy cuteness that I can, as I am getting them ready for their new homes.

SIX WEEKS OLD

Warning: I took WAY TOO MANY pictures this week!

Two more weeks until the puppies head to their new homes! They are really starting to play with us and each other. They also love to cuddle!

It is so hard to get them all looking at the camera at the same time!

FIVE WEEKS OLD

The puppies have had SO much fun this week! Because the weather has been nicer, they made a few trips outside. These pictures are right after they had played for a good thirty minutes, and they were getting sleepy. I kept trying to take pictures of them playing, but they are SO fast. They loved the leaves and pinecones and would carry them all around the yard.

We have also started taking them outside to practice potty training. So far, they are going as soon as I take them out! We will keep working on it until they go to their new homes!

These puppies have been so great to hold. I love coming home from work and cuddling with them. As soon as I pick them up, they lay still and want to snuggle or lick my face:).
